Block84.com - Lifestyle is a terrible thing to waste.

I was walking through campus the other day and noticed something quite disturbing. As classes are winding up people are starting to celebrate and enjoy some of the student activities hosted at school, one of these activities included four people in the middle of the convocation mall playing the Rockband game. Singing, drumming, riffing….

What happened to real bands? What is the world coming to? Is it too much to ask to have some subpar college band play some overplayed covers? Do we really have to subject ourselves to non-musical gamers playing and singing to a video game? I must say I did not enjoy what I heard. I have no problem with the game itself, rockbanders feel free to get down to The Killers over and over again in your own homes, but on campus I want some real rockstars (or wannabes). Give me mullets and acne I don’t care!!!!!
