Not Since Rounders has their been a poker movie worth watching. The Grand takes a different approach to the game and looks like a winner.I came across a trailer yesterday.. The title does not grab you at all, in fact, it is so broad that it makes you dismiss it more than pay attention to it. However, after watching this trailer i must say this looks hilarious.The movie is an improvisational comedy set in the world of Professional Poker and follows six players who reach the final table at the world’s second most prestigious poker tournament, the Grand Championship of Poker.Improvisational comedies are normally hit or miss big time, it completely depends on the cast. The cast on this movie does not dissapoint. David Cross (Arrested Development), Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Woody Harrelson (White Men Can’t Jump), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) among many, many others.On top of this great cast, many poker pros are featured such as Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth Jr., Phil Laak, and Antonio Esfandiari.
