It’s been an exciting week. Developing this site and getting some content up has been a great experience and finally executing the soft launch for the site was a relief. I’ve started some websites in the past and I will tell you that it is not easy to keep the fresh content coming. I think that is where Block84.com will excel. There are four of us writing, and we each have our own style and interests. Hill will keep you posted with music, fashion and style, Dan will be dropping all the info on local events, Spiro is always good for humorous posts, and I will probably be filling in the rest.

Every weekend I will give you a report on the what went down. Hopefully I can get enough photos for those of you who only like the pictures. I know there are still some people out there who read for the articles so here goes.
Friday night was a celebration. Two of our close friends Manny and Rahim celebrated their 24th borndays. You know what that means right? LXXXIV It was a super hot party over at AZIA where thirty of us filled a good portion of the restaurant. They extended their “Dine Out” Menu so we were lucky enough to get a great meal at a killer price.
Three courses, and several cocktails later. The group went over to The Cellar. A low key bar on Granville St.. Not one of our normal venues, but Rahim had a friend working the door so we were in with no cover and no lineup. These days there is always someone who knows someone and waiting in line is just something we rarely have to do.
Saturday was the soft launch of the website. We did some promotions and hit up a bunch of people Facebook walls and left them some video messages. I think it’s an innovative method of marketing. I have a feeling we are going to set a trend with it in the near future. After taking care of that business, Hill and Dan were off to some meetings to discuss future plans for FUTV. We have so many crazy ideas in store for our next videos, but we have to keep it on the DL for now. Just keep coming back and you won’t miss a thing!
But that meant that Spiro and I had no more responsibilities for the night. Party time! Our friend was having her birthday at AuBar so we hopped over and chilled till closing. I was pissed at first because this moron security made me take off my Royal Underground blazer.
It has a faux zipin hoodie piece and he said “no hoodies”. I told him that “this blazer is worth a million dollars and it has champaigne in it!” He didn’t buy it so I checked it. Other than that I had a ton of fun, drinking, dancing, the usual. Spiro also hooked us up with some good company for the majority of the night.

I think they were enjoying our company too! We were all talking about “The Hills” and Spiro was amazing them with his vast knowledge of quotes and trivia. So I thought I would take it to the next level and go for the Justin Bobby look with the scarf on the head. Yeah, not so effective. They said I looked like I was auditioning for Taliban Idol. Damnnnn man!
Check back all this week for more epic posts and next Sunday for another weekend report.
Best~
